To Evaluate Educational Standards Achievement, the Pharmacy Study Program Conducts an Internal Quality Audit

On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, the Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK), UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, conducted an Internal Quality Audit (AMI) to evaluate the achievement of educational standards in the study program. In accordance with the agreement between the auditor and auditee, the Quality Assurance Audit was conducted through the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM). This activity was carried out in the Accreditation Room of the Ibnu Thufail Building, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

Higher education institutions have the authority to select and establish the applicable higher education standards for each educational unit, which are manifested in the form of quality standards covering various aspects. Therefore, Higher Education Quality Assurance focuses on ensuring that management standards in study programs are consistently met, thus providing optimal service.

Efforts to improve the quality of higher education institutions must be carried out sustainably, subject to continuous evaluation and revision. To achieve this, Quality Assurance Development is carried out in higher education institutions through Internal Quality Audits (AMI). Through these AMI activities, achievement and non-achievement of quality standards can be more clearly identified, allowing appropriate corrective measures to be taken.

The audit team assigned by LPM consists of 3 people (Kurniasih Bahagiati, MH; Fantika Febry Puspitasari, M.Pd.; and Dr. Ni'matuz Zuhro, M.Si.). Meanwhile, the auditees are the Head of the Pharmacy Study Program (apt. Abdul Hakim, M.PI, M.Farm.), the Secretary of the Pharmacy Study Program (apt. Hajar Sugihantoro, S.Farm., MPH), several lecturers and related staff in the Pharmacy Study Program. This activity sees the involvement and contribution of all academics to ensure that the findings obtained can be addressed together.

Through this Internal Quality Audit, it is hoped that universities can continue to improve the quality of education and provide optimal service. The next step in conducting this Internal Quality Audit is a commitment to consistently demonstrate the commitment of university leaders to continuously improve for the sake of better educational quality.
