In collaboration with PT Adhi Karya, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang held a joint iftar and provided assistance to orphans.

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang (FKIK UIN Malang) held a breaking of the fast together and donations to orphans and was attended by officials and staff of the rectorate of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Village Heads, Bhabinkamtibmas, and the academic community of FKIK UIN Malang, Tuesday (04/05/2021) yesterday. Held at the Ibnu Sina Mosque of FKIK UIN Malang, Tlekung Village, Batu City, the event which was originally supposed to be attended directly by the Rector of UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. H. Abdul Haris, M.Ag took place with a full sense of family.

The event began with a sermon delivered by Ust. Amiruddin, Lc., followed by takjil and Maghrib prayers in congregation led by the Deputy Dean II of FKIK UIN Malang, Mr. Ach. Nasichuddin, MA. then followed by breaking the fast together and closed with a donation procession for orphans represented by Mr. Adi Winarko, as Engineering Manager of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk.

This breaking fast and orphanage donation event also marks the closing of the Ramadan Celebration series at FKIK, which this year was held to celebrate Lustrum 1: the 5th Anniversary of FKIK UIN Malang. According to the Head of the Ramadan Celebration Committee, Triasih Esti Nugraheni, SE, MM., the purpose of this event is to expand the spread of Islam, especially in the Holy Month of Ramadan. In addition, through this breaking fast and orphanage donation activity, it is hoped that the brotherhood between FKIK UIN Malang, the private sector, and the community will be further strengthened. "We hope that with this activity, FKIK will continue to advance, of course with the prayers and support of the entire academic community and the community around Campus III FKIK UIN Malang," she concluded.
