Upgrading FDI Al-Fath 2026: “The Golden Lamp”, Igniting the Spirit of Da'wah and Strengthening the Brotherhood of Members

The dynamics of campus da'wah organizations demand not only enthusiasm but also a comprehensive understanding of their values, direction, and strategic role within the broader context. To address this need, the Al-Fath Islamic Discussion Forum (FDI) held its 2026 Upgrading event on Saturday, April 25, 2026. This event served as the initial step in building a more solid, focused, and sustainable organizational foundation.

Carrying the theme "The Golden Lamp: Light Up the Jihad, Unite the Bond," this activity is an effort to rekindle the spirit of da'wah while strengthening the bonds of brotherhood among members. Upgrading is positioned not only as a formal annual event, but also as a collective learning space that emphasizes the internalization of values, strengthening identity, and developing members' character.

This activity is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of FDI Al-Fath, from its identity, vision, mission, and future direction. Participants will also be encouraged to understand FDI Al-Fath's strategic position as part of the Faculty of Medicine's Da'wah Institute (LDFK) and its relationship with the Faculty of Medicine's Da'wah Institute's Ukhuwah Forum (FULDFK) as a national coordinating forum.

One of the key sessions in this activity was the FULDFK socialization, delivered directly by the General Chair of FULDFK Indonesia, De Farras King. In his presentation, he explained the history of FULDFK's formation, its evolving role in uniting the da'wah movement in various medical faculties, and its strategic contribution in strengthening synergy between da'wah institutions. This understanding emphasized that FDI Al-Fath is part of a broader da'wah network, ensuring that each member has a role on a national scale.

Furthermore, the technical aspects of the organization were strengthened through the delivery of materials on Administration and Finance by the FDI Al-Fath Core Management Board (BPI). This material provided practical guidance on managing the organization's administration and finances, enabling each member to execute work programs in a more systematic, orderly, and professional manner.

The series of activities also included a Welcome Party session, which served as a means of fostering emotional closeness among members. The sense of togetherness was further strengthened through bonding sessions and interactive games designed by division. Through these activities, each member was encouraged to get to know one another better, build teamwork, and foster mutual trust within the organization. These activities not only created a warm and enjoyable atmosphere but also served as the first step in strengthening Islamic brotherhood and solidarity among members.

The 2026 FDI Al-Fath Upgrading emphasizes that being part of a da'wah organization involves more than just fulfilling a structural role, but also embracing values, responsibilities, and a commitment to maintaining the sustainability of campus da'wah. This activity is the first step in developing members who are not only active but also loyal and possess integrity.

Going forward, the results of this activity are expected to be implemented in a more solid, focused, and impactful organizational performance. With the spirit of The Golden Lamp, FDI Al-Fath is expected to continue to ignite the light of da'wah, strengthen unity, and make positive contributions to the campus environment and the wider community.
