Being a student is a gift from God that deserves to be cherished. This gratitude must also be balanced with all forms of effort. History has proven that students, as representatives of the nation's intellectuals, have made significant contributions to the country. Students are not only required to master academic matters, but also to be able to implement their knowledge for the benefit of society. This is the principle held firmly by Damas Raja Alvinnu Fajri, a student in the Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Medicine, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, who was officially inaugurated as Secretary General of the Indonesian Pharmacy Student Senate Association (ISMAFARSI) online on Saturday (October 3, 2020) at the XVIII ISMAFARSI National Conference (MUNAS).<\/p><\/blockquote>

<\/p>

ISMAFARSI is a national-scale organization that serves as a forum for all pharmacy students from various pharmaceutical universities in Indonesia. ISMAFARSI was founded on December 22, 1955 with the aim of realizing the personality of pharmacy students and pharmacy student executive bodies that are responsible, aware, and able to uphold the norms and ethics of the pharmaceutical profession. ISMAFARSI is an intra-university organization that is based on professionalism and is oriented towards science (SK DIKTI No. 974\/D5.2\/T\/2007 and SK). The UIN Malang pharmacy student who is familiarly called Damas said that through ISMAFARSI, all pharmacy students in Indonesia can gather strength together to contribute, fight and serve towards a better pharmaceutical civilization.<\/p>

Damas believes that his achievements today are inseparable from the support of those around him. "I am grateful to have a family who continues to send prayers, friends who always faithfully accept all my stories, friends who always sincerely help me understand the substance of the lectures, and many seniors and upperclassmen who always provide advice and insights. That is my greatest strength today," he said.<\/p>

Responding to current issues in the pharmaceutical sector, this Rembang-born student believes that the Draft Law on Drug and Food Supervision (RUU F) and the Draft Law on Drug and Food Supervision (RUU Waspom) as legitimate legal umbrellas governing the pharmaceutical industry are worth fighting for. This is in the common interest, given that a healthy pharmaceutical industry will impact the well-being of the people.<\/p>

\u201c"Students must be able to play a role for this nation and country as stabilizers and agent of change<\/em>. Our goal is long, our goal is far, not just being able to change the color in an Erlenmeyer flask, grind medicine until smooth, or even just GPA Cum Laude<\/em>, "Instead, we must begin to collaborate with each other, both within academics and within organizations.
