The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang successfully held the Grand Final of the 2026 FKIK Safir and Safirah Selection on Tuesday (23\/6\/2026) at the 4th Floor Rumah Singgah Auditorium, Campus 2 of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This activity was the culmination of a series of selections for faculty ambassadors aimed at recruiting the best students to carry out the mandate as FKIK Safir and Safirah for the 2026\u20132027 period.<\/p>\n

The event was officially opened by the Dean of FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati Prabowowati Wadjib, M.Kes., Sp.Rad.(K). In her remarks, she emphasized that Safir and Safirah not only act as faculty ambassadors, but also as inspirational figures who are able to represent academic and Islamic values. \u201c"Safir and Safirah are expected to represent FKIK well. One year of service means a lifetime of inspiration. They must be able to optimally develop their potential and balance it with the values of Islamic integration."\u201d<\/em> said Prof. Yuyun.<\/p>\n

The grand final featured three competent judges in their fields, namely Norma Hasanatul Maghfiroh, M.Psi., Larasati Sekar Kinasih, M.Gz., and Meilina Ratna Dianti, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep. The three assessed the participants based on aspects of communication, leadership, academic insight, personality, and commitment to bringing honor to the faculty. A total of 14 finalists consisting of 6 Safir finalists and 8 Safirah finalists displayed their best abilities through an introduction session, talent show, presentation of ideas, and a question and answer session with the judges. The finalists demonstrated their capacity as prospective faculty ambassadors who not only excel academically, but also have good communication skills, leadership, and social awareness.<\/p>\n

At the culmination of the 2026 Safir and Safirah FKIK UIN Malang Grand Final, the jury panel named Nindyta Gita Auralita (Pharmacy 2024) as the Most Favorite Ambassador based on the highest number of votes received during the selection process. The title Runner Up<\/em> II was achieved by Dzaki Hawari Ahmad Ramadhan (Medical Education 2025), and Qurrotul Ayunin Fatihin Izar (Pharmacy 2025). Meanwhile, the second position Runner Up<\/em> I was successfully achieved by Azzam Milzam Zul Hilmi Purwanto (Medical Education 2025) and Amanda Leona Ayu Benita (Pharmacy 2025). Winner <\/em>The 2026 Sapphire of FKIK UIN Malang was won by Muhammad Farchad Dwi Cahyo (Pharmacy 2025) and the title Winner<\/em> The Safirah FKIK UIN Malang 2026 was won by Naala El Rusyda (Medical Education 2025).<\/p>\n

The selection of the winners is expected to bring renewed enthusiasm to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. As faculty ambassadors, Safir and Safirah are expected to be role models for students, actively contributing to academic and non-academic activities, and representing FKIK at various university, regional, and national levels.<\/p>\n

Through the Grand Final of the 2026 Safir and Safirah Selection, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang hopes to produce a generation of students who excel academically, possess integrity, leadership, and possess the spirit to continue inspiring and bringing honor to the faculty. Carrying the slogan \u201cOne Year of Service, a Lifetime of Inspiration\u201d<\/em>, the winners are expected to be able to carry out their mandate as faculty ambassadors with full dedication and responsibility.<\/p>\n
