POOR<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held a series of culminating events rich in spiritual, social, and achievement significance. Carrying the momentum of the faculty's decade-long journey, the event titled FKIK's 10th Anniversary, Orphanage Donation, and the Closing of the 2026 Dean's Cup was successfully held on Sunday, June 21, 2026. The entire series of activities centered on the 3rd Floor of the Ar-Rahim Auditorium Hall, Campus 3 of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim, Malang.<\/p>\n

This event serves as an important reflection for the entire FKIK family to celebrate the institution's tenth anniversary. More than just a celebration, this moment is also designed to strengthen a sense of family through a combination of spiritual activities, concrete social actions, and appreciation for the talents of the academic community.<\/p>\n

The Beginning of Blessings: Istighosah and Alms for Orphans<\/strong><\/p>\n

The series of events opened with a solemn atmosphere through a joint istighosah (religious prayer) activity, followed by a donation to orphans. This social action served as a tangible symbol of the concern and social responsibility consistently instilled by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang.<\/p>\n

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniawati PW, M.Kes., Sp.Rad (K), emphasized that the success of a medical and health education institution should not be measured solely by academic achievement. The humanitarian values, usefulness, and social concern demonstrated to the wider community are equally important indicators of graduation.<\/p>\n

\u201c"This donation to orphans reminds us that an institution's success is measured not only by academic achievement, but also by social awareness and helpfulness. We hope this donation will be a demonstration of the love, togetherness, and care of the FKIK family. May these students be blessed with good health, ease in learning, and one day be able to continue their education at FKIK," said Prof. Yuyun in her emotional remarks.<\/p>\n

Reflections on a Decade: From Three to Six Study Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a token of gratitude for the decade-long journey, the FKIK leadership symbolically cut a tumpeng (rice cone) into a rice cone. The ceremony, imbued with a warm, family atmosphere, also served as a sign of a shared commitment to continuously improving the quality of education, research, and community service in the future.<\/p>\n

In an interview, Prof. Yuyun outlined the rapid progress achieved by FKIK over the past decade. He recalled the early days of the faculty, which at the time only offered three study programs.<\/p>\n

\u201c"Today is a special moment for the FKIK family. Ten years ago, we established this faculty with many hopes. Thanks to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of the entire academic community, FKIK continues to develop into an increasingly advanced faculty, producing graduates who are superior, professional, possess integrity, and are grounded in Islamic values," he said.<\/p>\n
