Soekarno Building, on Thursday afternoon (May 7). Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University (UIN) Malang officially held the 2025 Educator Certificate (Serdos) award ceremony for lecturers who have been declared professionally competent in carrying out the noble task of educating the nation.<\/p>\n<p>The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) achieved a remarkable milestone at the ceremony, adding to its ranks of certified professional educators. Eight lecturers from the Medicine study program and six lecturers from the Pharmacy study program were present as part of the ranks of lecturers who now officially hold professional lecturer status.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solemn and Symbolic Procession<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event started at exactly 13.00 WIB with the playing of the national anthem. <em>Indonesia Raya<\/em> And <em>UIN Malang March<\/em> which inspired the participants&#039; spirit of integrity. Acting as the event&#039;s moderator, Ms. Asni Furaida, MA, led the procession, which was attended by university leaders.<\/p>\n<p>The pinnacle of pride for the FKIK family came during the symbolic certificate distribution. A similar sentiment was echoed by Vice Rector I, Drs. H. Basri, MA, Ph.D., who provided in-depth guidance on the essence of being a professional lecturer.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that the title &quot;professional&quot; demands a more progressive implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Certified lecturers are expected to focus not only on classroom teaching but also to expand into the realm of professional development. <strong>scientific research and publications<\/strong>.
