Surabaya<\/strong>, Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Al Fath Islamic Discussion Forum (FDI) of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held a comparative study to one of the FK Universitas Airlangga organizations, Assalam, which is also an organization under FULDFK. This activity served as a means of fostering friendship and exchanging experiences in managing campus da'wah. Guided by the spirit of collaboration and Islamic brotherhood, this activity took place in a warm atmosphere, full of enthusiasm, and filled with very constructive discussions.<\/p>\n

Muhammad Fajrian Noor, a member of the organizing committee and a participant from FDI, stated that this comparative study provided an important opportunity to learn directly from Assalam UNAIR, a progressive, structured, and consistent organization contributing to campus discussions. He believes this activity is not merely a forum for discussion, but also the beginning of broader and more sustainable collaboration. Despite academic constraints, this has fueled FDI's enthusiasm to make the event a success. He also expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from Assalam and considered the discussion highly productive. He emphasized the importance of better time management in the future and encouraged participants to bring home renewed enthusiasm to strengthen discussions on their respective campuses.<\/p>\n

Complementing this statement, the Head of Assalam UNAIR, Azzam Nur Taufikurrahman, also conveyed that this activity was a very beneficial opportunity to strengthen synergy and collaboration between universities. He emphasized the importance of mutual support in facing the challenges of campus discussions in the modern era. Assalam not only wanted to provide benefits, but also hoped to learn from FDI Al Fath, known as an active and solid discussion institution. "Hopefully, this friendship will continue in the form of broader collaboration," he concluded.<\/p>\n

From a technical implementation perspective, one of the Assalam committee members, Zuhro Zuraida from the external affairs department, stated that the success of this event was inseparable from the strong bonding process among team members, as well as the clear division of tasks. All aspects, from logistics and catering to the event, were carefully planned. He mentioned the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) session as the most memorable moment because it presented an active and inspiring exchange of ideas between the two institutions. He hopes this collaboration will not stop at this forum, but will continue in the form of broader cross-departmental collaboration.<\/p>\n

This comparative study activity is proof that campus discussions are not about competition, but about how to support each other, learn, and move together in spreading Islamic values that are rahmatan lil 'alamin.<\/p>\n
