Batu, May 2025<\/strong> \u2014 The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has once again achieved a proud achievement in the 2025 Campus Ambassador Selection. For the second consecutive year, FKIK has successfully produced the main winner of the Campus Ambassador, strengthening the strategic role of faculty ambassadors as potential representatives at the university level.<\/p>\n

This year, the prestigious title was won by Dina Aulia Rahma<\/strong>, a FKIK student who previously served as Winner<\/strong><\/em> Safirah FKIK 2024. <\/strong>\u00a0For him, the role of campus ambassador is not merely symbolic, but a significant responsibility in serving as a bridge between the campus and the community. "Mental readiness and ability are essential." public speaking<\/em> "It's key. I'm grateful for my previous experience as a FKIK Ambassador because it shaped my character in facing various challenges on the university stage," said the girl, who was born on May 5th.<\/p>\n

Beyond that, Dina views the title of campus ambassador as a platform for contribution and self-development. "Being an ambassador means being the face of the campus. We're encouraged to continue learning, think critically, and make a positive impact, not just by appearing, but also by contributing in real ways," she added.<\/p>\n

One of the finalists who was originally Safir FKIK, Revandi Iman Firmansyah<\/strong> also shared a similar view. "I gained many benefits, from new relationships, broader perspectives, to insights from a new environment that greatly encouraged personal growth," he said. He also highlighted the importance of researching current issues as a form of intellectual readiness for an ambassador.<\/p>\n

During the quarantine process, the finalists were equipped with various skills ranging from public speaking<\/em>, communication ethics, to catwalk<\/em> and simulated discussions on campus issues. "I've learned more about UIN, not only from an academic perspective, but also from its history, values, and strategic role in society," said Dina.<\/p>\n

FKIK's successive successes in producing campus ambassadors cannot be separated from the role of consistent coaching, namely through Safir Safirah FKIK<\/strong>. Larasati Sekar Kinasih, M.Gz<\/strong>, as the mentor, emphasized that ambassadors are not chosen because they are perfect, but because they have a desire to continuously grow. "The values we emphasize are manners, integrity, discipline, and empathy. FKIK ambassadors must understand that they are given a platform not only to speak, but also to listen and make an impact," he emphasized.<\/p>\n

He also highlighted the ambassadors' main challenge, namely managing their time between academics and their representative roles. However, he believes this challenge makes them more resilient. "From my experience assisting the ambassadors, I see significant opportunities opening up, such as networking with national and international figures, participating in training, and interacting directly with faculty guests of honor," he explained.<\/p>\n

Concluding her statement, Larasati offered a profound message, "This stage isn't about you. It's about who you can help and lift up. Be an ambassador who not only performs, but also serves. Because what will be remembered later is not just what you achieve, but what you give."\u201c<\/p>\n

This year's UIN Malang Campus Ambassador event not only reflects individual quality but also demonstrates the faculty's success in developing a representative generation that combines intellectual prowess, Islamic character, and a spirit of service. Through the FKIK Safir-Safirah, the faculty's role in producing campus representatives is increasingly evident.<\/p>\n
