Previously known as the &quot;Dean Cup,&quot; the event has now officially changed its name to... <strong>MECCA 2025<\/strong>, stand for <em>Medical and Health Sciences Dean Cup and Carnival<\/em>. This name change reflects the spirit of renewal and the expansion of the program&#039;s vision, which focuses not only on sports competitions but also includes elements of art, education, community service, and entertainment. MECCA serves as a space for expression for the entire FKIK academic community across all academic years and serves as a bridge for collaboration between the faculty and the surrounding community.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15024 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/fkik.uin-malang.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/dc2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"641\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fkik.uin-malang.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/dc2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fkik.uin-malang.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/dc2-18x12.jpg 18w, https:\/\/fkik.uin-malang.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/dc2.jpg 602w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 641px) 100vw, 641px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The MECCA 2025 series of activities began on May 28, 2025, with an opening ceremony held offline in the Auditorium on the 3rd floor of the FKIK Building. The event was opened with great enthusiasm from students, lecturers, and educational staff. For almost a month, the activities took place in stages and included various interesting agendas, ranging from sports competitions such as futsal, badminton, table tennis, tug of war, and e-sports; arts competitions such as solo vocals, MTQ, modern dance, and band; to socio-educational activities such as blood donation, free health checks, health talks, group exercise, nasyid concerts, and bazaars. High enthusiasm was not only present among students, but also from residents around campus 3, who also attended and participated in various agendas. This shows that MECCA 2025 is not only a student agenda, but is truly a collaborative event involving various elements.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15024 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/fkik.uin-malang.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/dc2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"597\" height=\"398\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fkik.uin-malang.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/dc2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fkik.uin-malang.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/dc2-18x12.jpg 18w, https:\/\/fkik.uin-malang.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/dc2.jpg 602w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 597px) 100vw, 597px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The culmination of MECCA 2025 took place on Saturday, June 22, 2025, marking the end of the entire series of activities. The closing ceremony was lively, highlighted by competition finals, art performances, door prizes, and an appreciation session for the best participants. Cheers and a spirit of togetherness were felt throughout the event, reflecting the success of MECCA 2025 as a moment that strengthened family ties within the FKIK environment. On this occasion, <strong>Dr. Alvi Miliana, M.Biomed.<\/strong>, as the Vice Dean III of FKIK, expressed his appreciation for the implementation of MECCA 2025. He said that this activity was very lively, complete, and involved many parties. &quot;The MECCA 2025 activity was very lively, and the series of events was very complete. Starting from group exercise, bazaar, health check-up, entertainment, health talk, to blood donation and the final of the competition. This activity was followed enthusiastically by the academic community and residents around campus 3. In fact, door prizes were also provided which made the atmosphere even more lively,&quot; he said. He also added his hope, &quot;In the future, hopefully similar activities can be held even more lively, and attended by more residents and academics.&quot;\u201c<\/p>\n<p>In line with this, <strong>Dean of FKIK<\/strong>, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati Prabowowatiwadjib M.Kes., Sp. Rad (K) also gave her remarks at the closing ceremony. She expressed her highest appreciation to the entire MECCA 2025 committee for their hard work and dedication throughout the planning and implementation process. According to her, activities like this not only strengthen student cohesion, but also serve as an important platform to unite various elements in FKIK. \u201cI truly appreciate the hard work of the MECCA 2025 committee in presenting this extraordinary event. I hope that MECCA will not only be a form of entertainment, but also a means of consolidation and collaboration between students, lecturers, educational staff, and all parties in FKIK. Hopefully, this tradition will continue and become a positive culture in our faculty,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The chief executive of MECCA 2025 also expressed his pride in the success of the event, despite the short time it took to prepare. He stated that the entire committee had worked tirelessly to deliver a memorable event. &quot;We are very grateful and proud that, with such a short preparation time, MECCA 2025 was still able to be held in an extraordinary manner. Although there were still shortcomings, this is understandable because perfection belongs only to God. I am personally very proud of the hard work of the entire committee, as well as the extraordinary support from the lecturers and faculty leaders,&quot; he said. He also emphasized that MECCA&#039;s success is a reflection of the success of FKIK&#039;s branding in the public eye, as was the initial goal of this event. In closing, the chief executive conveyed a message to the committee in future years to prepare activities more thoroughly, maintain good communication, avoid miscommunication, and continue to uphold cooperation based on a sense of family.<\/p>\n<p>MECCA 2025 has concluded, but the spirit embodied during this event is expected to live on and become a positive culture within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK). This event not only leaves memories but also symbolizes the synergy and strength of the community in building a healthy, dynamic, and humane academic environment.
