Friday (24\/06\/2022), FKIK State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang<\/a> roll out press conference<\/em> related to the 6th Anniversary of Maulidiyah and the Grand Thanksgiving for the new accreditation grades. The reaccreditation results for the Medical Education Study Program were "Very Good" and the Medical Profession Study Program were "Good.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) State Islamic University of Malang<\/a> Currently, the university has three study programs: Medical Education, Medical Profession, and Bachelor of Pharmacy. Furthermore, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang is also awaiting permission to open a Professional Pharmacy Study Program, which will eventually have four study programs. State Islamic University of Malang<\/a> has a vision and mission that aligns with the university's vision and mission of "Excellence and International Reputation." This vision and mission are outlined in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which consists of Education, Research, and Community Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the field of education, all study programs at FKIK State Islamic University of Malang<\/a> has an international reputation. FKIK UIN Malang has also joined an international organization, AMSA (Asian Medical Students' Association<\/em>). In the field of research, State Islamic University of Malang<\/a> itself provides funding support for every international collaborative research. In addition, both lecturers and students from FKIK State Islamic University of Malang<\/a> has published in numerous internationally reputable journals. In the field of community service, many FKIK academics have contributed State Islamic University of Malang<\/a> who have done their service and then made it into an international journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the journey has not been without obstacles and challenges. "The challenges may be due to our relative infancy. FKIK is only six years old. But we are continuing the process to get there (developing FKIK)," said the Dean of FKIK. State Islamic University of Malang<\/a>, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati Prabowowati W., M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite its relatively young age, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang has achieved "Very Good" accreditation for its Medical Education Study Program and "Good" accreditation for its Professional Medicine Study Program. This accreditation was conducted by the Indonesian Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes), which has been recognized by the Indonesian Institute of Health Professionals (IAPH). World Federation for Medical Education <\/em>(WFME). FKIK State Islamic University of Malang<\/a> continue to process and strive to be able to achieve "Excellent" accreditation which is in line with the vision and mission State Islamic University of Malang<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Yuyun also shared good news that this coming November, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang will graduate the first class of its Professional Doctor Program. The first class consists of 50 students. Most of them will continue their professional studies at Karsa Husada Hospital, a teaching hospital that has partnered with FKIK. State Islamic University of Malang<\/a> and some others continued their Fast Track Masters studies at Brawijaya University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fast Track program is offered to Medical and Pharmacy students in the Master of Biomedical Sciences program at Brawijaya University who have been accredited "Excellent" by LAM-PTKes and certified at the ASEAN level (AUN-QA). The Fast Track program currently has two cohorts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Faculty of Medicine and Medicine (FKIK) of UIN Malang is currently focusing on opening a new study program, the Pharmacy Professional Study Program. The Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program already has many young lecturers and educated students. The young lecturers in the Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program currently include one professor and three doctoral lecturers. The student body has produced many talented graduates, including those who have become University Ambassadors, hold the copyright to the Dean's Cup song, and many have participated in the Fast Track program and won international championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It would be a shame if graduates of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Program had to enroll elsewhere to pursue their studies in the Pharmacist Professional Program. Considering that each intake of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Program consists of 150 students, each with their own unique talents, FKIK... State Islamic University of Malang<\/a> continue to strive and ask for prayers and blessings to immediately obtain permission for the opening of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program which has been in process since 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
